This turnout was however down on the precedent years figures by as much as 20%, represented by a significant turnout of over half a million people in 2008, according to media reports and resources. The show was relieve however deemed to be successful despite the reduced numbers in attendance, the media attributed the reduced turnout to the accredited financial situation as well as the impending swine flu situation.
